This was the type of light I wanted, but I happened to find the TUF4CPE at a brick and mortar retailer for a good price, and so went with it. First and foremost: You install the batteries by unscrewing the back, rubber cap counter-clockwise. No need for prying, or unscrewing the phillips screws holding it all together. Energizer deserved to lose a star on this, as they do not put any instructions on the box, flashlight or even their website on how to do this! The light still gets 4 stars for some minor other items below, and depending on your purpose maybe 4.5 stars. I am a big fan of the energizer hard case series of products. The specs say 160 lumens. I have other lights that are rated higher but this light seems much brighter. It can really throw the light out. It's a thin beam but it does throw far.Looks like it has a 300-400 foot usable range. Now it is not a hid spot by any stretch but for a general spotlight it is great.
