I do not want to worry about my stove generator getting plugged, or one of the ten o-rings on the fuel pump needing to be replaced. Sure, an Esbit doesn't scream sexy, but when you're shaking through a case of the runs or eating your tenth granola bar because your equipment failed....who's the sexy one now? This stand is great. What I really love about this one is I can pack an Esbit Spirit Burner, this stand, and a few Esbit tablets, and I'm good for days with two sources of fuel. Yes, Esbit tablets blacken the bottom of your pots, but have you seen your fingernails after a 4 day expedition!? This stand also comes in a very sturdy pouch. Do yourself a favor, dump the complicated stoves and get yourself a spirit burner, this stand, and a box of Esbit tablets, and get lost. P.S. Sleep with your alcohol fuel and stove.
