I bought this because I always end up with a sore back on backpacking and camping trips because of not having a comfortable sitting situation after hiking all day. This chair is light, sets up easily and was easy to learn to use. I carry a backpacking tripod chair with it as a foot rest. This makes what my son calls my "backpacking lazy boy." While I think the chair is a bit pricey on the front end, the quality of manufacturing is so good, I don't think I will ever have to buy another chair in the future. I would definitely buy this again.

If you are a backpacker, looking to minimize weight and maximize you seating comfort this is the chair for you. This thing only weighs around a pound and packs up about the size of a hoagie sandwich making it well worth the price. Great for day packing also and will fit into any small day pack.

This is a great little chair that collapses and can fit in many motorcycle saddle bags and trunk boxes. My motorcycle has a lot of fiberglass and plastic, so bungee cords are not an option. This little comfy chair does the trick. Might be a little pricey (4 stars), but it sure beats sitting down on hard picnic benches at the camp grounds after a long day of riding.
