I cabn't say for sure whether that works but so far so good in a pretty "ticky" place. I was surprised to find I had bought a really exceptional pair of pants! The all synthetic fabric truly breathes like light weight cotton - a first. They dry very quickly and are super light weight. They shed wrinkles quickly and are a very good looking cut on me (36 waist 32 length). Whenever I travel I wear them because they are comfortable for long periods of sitting down. They are also great for walking. Unrestricted movement. Great even on hot humid days. Would be exceptional in the buggy tropics. Almost weightless but somehow maintain enough weight to drape properly. These pants run VERY small -- the ExOfficio were slightly large, and these were uncomfortably tight. However, they are stylish and have a ton of pockets -- including some hidden ones -- that work great. These hold up well under a beating, but they're not as comfortable as the ExOfficio ones (which are at least $20 more expensive).
