I keep in in my backpack and use it at work and school so that I don't have to use plastic forks every day. It's made out of stainless steel so it's easy to clean. When folded up it's pretty small, but each utensil is adequate.The fork tongs are dull, as in completely flat, but it's still able to pick things up well. It's heavy enough that your stabs will penetrate far enough into the food. I was eating a salad earlier today and had no problem picking up the leaves. I don't see a reason why the bottle opener wouldn't work, but I haven't used it. The knife had a bit of diffculty cutting through an orange, so I sharpened it myself. Also, there are no safety or locking mechanisms for the kinfe. The spoon doesn't fold into the body, it rests on the outside.
