This review is from: Katadyn Combi Replacement Element Carbon (2-Pack) (Sports) I have the Katadyn carbon filter holder also. I found that the filter holder will not hold all the carbon from package when opened. This could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at the situation. If you buy multiple packs of the carbon you will eventually have enough for a refill with out having to purchase more. I figure between 3 or 4 you would have enough for a bonus refill. It does a great job of improving the taste of the water. Just make sure you follow the instructions and replace the carbon every six months.
